Be Fiercely Competitive! Let Your Designs Go Wild!

Part Criteria and Design
Advantages Of MIM

Metal Injection Molding (MIM) allows a designer to create small complex shapes almost without restrictions. Utilizing traditional manufacturing methods, complex components have to be made as assemblies of parts, or by expensive multiple stage machining operations. With metal injection molding, multiple design details can be incorporated into the part whereby the formation is a single stage process. The injection-molding machine is proven to be the most economical shape formation platform currently in manufacturing use thus offering significant cost savings over traditional forming methods such as investment casting or production machining. Compared to traditional metal forming technologies the designer need not forgo high precision, superior surface finish or part to part repeatability. Given the creative freedom to add design complexity without adding cost and coupled with material mechanical properties that rival their wrought counterparts its no wonder that Metal Injection Molding industry is growing at over 30% annually.
