We employ the latest technology in all of our equipment. SMP is committed to driving the variation out of each manufacturing process along with automating to insure that we are the low cost producer. Statistical methods coupled with an unyielding commitment to excellence lead the way on our manufacturing floor. It all begins with molding and SMP is utilizing the most state of the art molding machines available today. These machines coupled with part extraction robots allow "lights out" manufacturing. From molding we move to debinding and what separates us from most is that here we offer options. Whether the component calls for solvent, thermal or catalytic debinding we have the equipment to meet the need. After debinding we move to sintering, here temperatures reach as high as 1600( C and the accuracy of the high temperature equipment is most crucial to part quality and consistency. SMP utilizes the most up to date sintering equipment available. The computerized controls allow for a "hands off" process that, once programmed is non-dependent on operator involvement. Again, this allows for "lights out" processing. Utilizing these computers not only allows us to tightly control the process but provide second by second process parameter recording to insure processing is performed at the specified conditions.

When capacity is at issue we are always ahead of the game. Many processors are constrained by ability to make capital equipment investment. SMP is constantly bringing new production capacity on line to meet our customers needs. From small batch processing to high volume continuous sintering we deploy the equipment to best meet the need.
